Summer Camps 2010 • One-Week Sessions Tuition = Half-Day Camps - $100 by June 1st; $125 after June 1st. Full-Day Camps - $150 by June 1st; $175 after June 1st Register Early! Class Sizes Limited Details Subject to Change
One-Week Dance Camps - All camps include breaks for snacks, craft, and film clips of the appropriate dance forms. Informal performance on last day of camp. Following is a description of past summer dance camps, which may be included in 2010 summer plans.- Fairy Magic Camp - A creative movement class, story time, craft, snack, and time for free play in our "fairy garden," which includes a fairy tent, tea party supplies, silk rainbow fairy house, puppets, flower fairies, and fairy wings. Snacks and supplies are provided. Dancers wear a leotard, no tights or shoes.
- Musical Theatre - Song and dance! Excerpts from Broadway or movie musicals.
- Hip Hop - Energetic, exciting dance experience, including skill-building, conditioning exercises, across-the-floor work, and a dance.
- Hip Hop Jr. - An energetic experience! Fundamentals of dance introduced through the use of contemporary music and stylized hip hop moves (age-appropriate). The craft activity will culminate in the construciton of a memento (decorated t-shirt or prop for the final performance).
- Hip Hop Extravaganza - This unique all-day camp will give students the opportunity to dabble in hip hop dance, break dance, and DJ'iong, taught by experts in all three fields.
